Product certification EEI mark
The product certification system (EEI mark) is a system that the Electricity Institute has implemented. Prepared with reference to ISO/IEC 17065 Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services is intended to certify product quality by sampling test products with reference to product testing standards according to TIS. or IEC, etc., and there are regular inspections and control of production quality at the production factory. (At least once a year) including sampling at the factory or from the market to retest to confirm product quality and product control throughout the product certification period by EEI.
When the product passes the test according to the specified standards. and pass the quality control assessment at the production plant according to the criteria set by the Electricity Institute. The applicant for service will receive a certificate of conformity (CoC), product test report and permission to display the product certification mark of the Electricity Institute. or EEI mark on the product throughout the period the product is subject to certification conditions, which confirms compliance with the requirements and testing standards set by the Electricity Institute.
